Old Fashioned Fruit Cobbler

Peach cobbler 334x250

Everyone loves dessert but usually it’s impossible to please everyone’s taste – until now.

Mix up this ever-so-easy old fashioned fruit cobbler mix in just minutes, and pour it over any fresh or canned fruit you like. That’s it. It doesn’t get any easier!

For a recent family dinner, I had requests for a blackberry, an apple, and two peach cobblers, so I stirred up a single batter and poured it into four separate 8 oz ramekins with each of the fruits requested. Voila! C’est magnifique!

Here’s how to make it.

Ingredients:

1 cup self rising flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla

3/4 cup fruit per serving

(2 tbsp melted butter – 1/2 tsp per ramekin)

(4) – 8 oz ramekins  (a square Pyrex baking dish will also work if you choose a single fruit flavor)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350.

Melt butter and pour equal amounts into each ramekin.  (Swirl the butter around to fully cover the bottom and sides before adding any fruit or batter.)  Then add 3/4 cup fruit per serving (pictured below I have diced fruit and berries to make 1 blackberry, 1 apple, and 2  peach cobblers).
